Artist Note

Vivid memories of turf-cutting, with a young family on the Featherbed Mountain, regularly draw us back to Wicklow, its clouds, colours and great distances. Our turf bank is flooded, due to long neglect. Our child labourers have all grown up, but we still hear the echo of their voices on the wind.
