We are WILDE about ART
The curators at Wilde about Art were testing the ground to see whether a commercial gallery in Skerries, Co. Dublin, Ireland was likely to succeed, since the closure of two other galleries in the town.
The exhibition entitled ‘Epiphany’ took place in Brasco’s Restaurant, situated at the beginning of Skerries harbour pier. It was highly successful in many ways, with about 250 people attending on the opening night and some much needed sales for the professional artists involved, however, at that stage Wilde About Art considered that commercially the time wasn't right to launch a new venture in the town.
